“Drivers and Duels” focuses on major rivalries, iconic drivers and legendary moments since 1950. On display are, among other things, historical memorabilia and a large helmet installation.
“Revolution by Design” looks at technical innovations, inventive spirit and design solutions that have shaped Formula 1 over the decades.
Particularly impressive is the “Survival” section which focuses on Romain Grosjean’s crash at the 2020 Bahrain Grand Prix and his rescue from the burning car. On display are the remains of the Haas car and a video installation featuring interviews and footage that document this event whilst also highlighting the progress the sport has made in the area of safety.
Fans and motorsport enthusiasts can look forward to a brand-new experience, exclusive to the Munich exhibition. The new room “German Drive” honours the significant contribution Germany has made to motorsport, celebrating its legendary drivers and historic race tracks. Nico Hulkenberg’s 2026 Audi suit and helmet will also be on display, straight from his first season in Formula 1 with Audi.
The exhibition concludes with “Pit Wall”, an immersive multimedia finale that brings together some of Formula 1’s most striking and emotional moments.
